Center for Collaborative Sciences Meeting Room

Meeting Room Information
Center for Collaborative Sciences (ELSI Hiroshima)

The meeting room at the Center for Collaborative Sciences (ELSI Hiroshima) will be available for use by Hiroshima University faculty and staff from July 1, 2026.
The room may be used for a variety of purposes, including online meetings, small seminars and discussions, collaborative work, and event preparation.

Room Capacity

Standard capacity: 8 people
Maximum capacity: 12 people (with additional chairs)

  • 65-inch display (HDMI compatible)
  • Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi)

Access to the Wi-Fi network requires a Hiroshima University ID. Users are responsible for connecting their own devices.

Equipment Available for Loan
  • Speakerphone with microphone (USB connection)
  • Conference camera (USB connection)
  • USB Type-C docking station

Usage Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday:
10:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Users must vacate the room by 3:30 p.m.

The meeting room is not available for use by anyone other than Center staff on Wednesdays, weekends, and national holidays.

Eligibility

Reservations may be made by Hiroshima University faculty and staff.
Students and external participants may use the room only when accompanied by the faculty or staff member who made the reservation.

Reservations

  • Reservations may be made from three months before the intended date of use until two business days before the reservation date.
  • To allow sufficient time for approval and confirmation of room availability, reservation requests must be submitted by noon two business days in advance.
  • If the deadline falls on a non-business day, requests must be submitted by noon on the preceding business day.
  • If you do not receive a confirmation email from the Center by 3:30 p.m. on the business day before your reservation, please contact the Center Administrative Office.

Terms of Use

Only the meeting room may be used. Access to other Center facilities is not permitted, except for the restrooms and the shared sink area.

Reservations may be declined depending on the purpose, number of participants, or duration of use.

The meeting room may not be used primarily for eating or drinking. Beverages for personal hydration during meetings are permitted. Containers with lids are recommended.

Please take all trash with you when leaving.

Users are responsible for setting up the room and returning all furniture and equipment to their original configuration after use.
