Call for Applications

[Call for Proposals] FY2026 Research Activity Support by ELSI Hiroshima (Deadline: July 13)

ELSI Hiroshima, the Center for Collaborative Sciences at Hiroshima University, promotes research and innovation that address the societal implications of emerging science and technology through the perspectives of Ethical, Legal, and Social Issues (ELSI) and Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).

ELSI and RRI provide frameworks for enhancing the quality and trustworthiness of science by identifying and addressing issues related to ethics, responsibility, and social acceptability throughout the processes of research planning, implementation, and social application. Through this call for proposals, ELSI Hiroshima seeks to support the integration of these “ELSI/RRI for Science” perspectives into diverse research fields, fostering new interdisciplinary collaborations and promoting research development that contributes to social implementation.
